Our Story

MySalad was born out of a love for wholesome food and the recognition of an industry deficiency. Tiana, who spent her whole childhood in the restaurants owned by her family, was working in corporate America when her future called her back to her roots. Lunch after lunch in the office, Tiana could not help but recognize the lack of fresh and wholesome food available for quick meals. She knew there was a better way to do it, and began planning the early concept for MySalad.

In 2016, the first MySalad was opened in Wayne NJ, and just as Tiana had predicted, people loved the concept of fast and wholesome. Only serving wraps, salads, and soups, her clientele continued to ask for more. Eventually, MySalad grew into what it is today. Tiana took her knowledge of great, fresh ingredients and combined it with her clientโ€™s need for quick and soon-developed savory warm bowls, creative avocado toasts, recipes for fresh juices and smoothies, and Toasties! 

The Future

In Spring 2023, Tiana will open her second MySalad location in Lyndhurst, NJ. She hopes to continue inspiring the communities she serves to eat locally, and healthfully while keeping the experience convenient. Her dream is to see MySalad do this at a national level via franchise. Until then, she is so thrilled to serve her local communities and continue to develop fresh, easy ideas for meals on the go.
